A fire near Eymir Lake was caused by the use of fireworks. The fire was quickly brought under control following citizen reports.

The Ankara Governorship announced that the fire started on August 19, 2025, at 22:45 and was under control by 23:27. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Two suspects were apprehended regarding the incident, and judicial investigations have begun. Many fire crews were dispatched to control the fire.

Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin stated that 167 personnel were involved in combating the fire, with aerial support also provided. The fire's advance towards the ODTÜ forest raised concerns.

Due to the fire, roads in the area were closed to traffic, and security measures were taken for the safety of citizens. Teams are working intensively to prevent the fire from spreading further.
