China's budget revenues and expenditures are on the rise!
According to the data released by the Chinese Ministry of Finance, from January to July 2025, the total budget revenues of central and local governments increased by 0.1% year-on-year to 13.58 trillion yuan (1.9 trillion dollars). During this period, budget expenditures rose by 3.4% to 16.1 trillion yuan (2.2 trillion dollars).
In the first seven months of the year, the budget deficit exceeded 300 billion dollars. The government intends to raise the budget deficit's ratio to GDP from 3% to 4% this year to promote growth through increased expenditures.
