A forest fire broke out in the Tozluburun area of Dağdemirler village in Usak and has been brought under control. The fire spread rapidly due to the wind, damaging 30 hectares of forest land.

Firefighting teams dispatched 2 helicopters and numerous fire trucks to the area. They intervened from both air and ground.

The fire was brought under control after 21 hours of intensive intervention. Cooling efforts are still ongoing.

The fire in Usak has raised concerns in surrounding villages. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
