Hurricane and Storm Disasters: Weather Warnings

This week, a heat wave will affect Turkey. Föhn winds will raise temperatures above seasonal norms. Weather expert Abdullah Macit summarizes this situation: "When you go outside, it will feel like hot air from a hairdryer."
Temperatures will rise to 37 in Ankara, 36 in Istanbul, 40 in Izmir, 45 in Diyarbakır, and 40 in Antalya. However, a cool and rainy weather is expected over the weekend.

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts thunderstorms and heavy rain in the northeastern regions of the country this week. Other regions will experience mostly clear weather.
Experts emphasize the need to be cautious when going outside due to the heat wave. It is recommended not to go out unless necessary.

Hurricanes and storm disasters are becoming more frequent with climate change. Therefore, following weather forecasts is vital.
