A major operation was conducted against crime syndicates in Istanbul, resulting in 29 arrests and the seizure of numerous weapons.

Istanbul's Public Security Department, in coordination with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, carried out extensive operations targeting these crime syndicates. Simultaneous operations were conducted on July 14.

During the operations, 6 unlicensed firearms were seized. Out of the 29 suspects detained, 27 were arrested while 2 were released under judicial control.

This operation is seen as a significant step in the ongoing fight against crime syndicates in Istanbul. Authorities stated that efforts to prevent such crimes will continue.
