Heat Wave Approaching! Weather Report Released

A heat wave is affecting Turkey!
The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that temperatures will rise by 6 to 12 degrees starting from July 19, 2025. Especially in the Southeast Anatolia region, temperatures are expected to reach up to 44 degrees.

In Ankara, temperatures are expected to reach 37, 36 in Istanbul, and 40 in Izmir. Citizens are advised to avoid being outdoors during the hottest hours from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Due to the hot weather, it is emphasized that those with chronic illnesses, the elderly, and children should be cautious. It is important to stay hydrated and take sun protection measures during this period.
Meteorology also indicated that thunderstorms and showers are expected in Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin. Therefore, residents in these areas should be cautious.
