A fire broke out in agricultural fields in Izmir's Aliağa district. The fire occurred around 08:30.

Upon notification, 3 planes, 6 helicopters, 21 fire trucks, 4 water supply vehicles, and 2 bulldozers were dispatched from the Izmir Forest Regional Directorate. Teams are making intense efforts to control the fire.

The fire started between the rural neighborhoods of Yüksekköy and Kapukaya in Aliağa. Aerial and ground interventions are underway.

As teams continue their efforts to control the fire, there is a risk of flames spreading due to the wind. Citizens are advised to be cautious.
