A man who filed for divorce recounted the horrific moments he experienced. The incident took place in Fatih, Istanbul.

Ebubekir Baran stated that he was threatened and attacked by his wife. The incident occurred on February 19, when Baran called his mother to take care of his child. However, his wife S.N.B. pushed his mother down the stairs and took the child away.

While Baran was at his hometown for a funeral, he received threats from his wife's brother. M.C.S. called Baran and made serious threats. Baran reported this to the police.

After the events, Baran requested help from the authorities, stating that he felt unsafe. M.C.S. was captured 5 months later but was released.

Baran described the terrifying moments he experienced and asked the government for assistance. He noted that his wife did not comply with the restraining order and continued to threaten him.
