Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan shared information about breastfeeding support for mothers through social media. He stated that 357 million lira was provided for breastfeeding allowances in 2024.

Minister Işıkhan said, "We support our insured with breastfeeding allowances for each birth. This year, the amount of support we provided reached 114 million lira."

The breastfeeding allowance is given to insured women who give birth or to the insured man if his wife gives birth. This support aims to protect the health and social security rights of mothers.

Additionally, Minister Işıkhan announced regarding the holiday bonuses for retirees. He stated, "The holiday bonus for retirees, which has been increased to 4,000 lira, will be paid as soon as it passes through the Parliament."

These supports aim to ease the lives of retirees and working mothers. Mothers will benefit from these supports to build a safer future for their children.
