In the Palandöken pass of the Erzurum-Tekman highway, the blizzard and fog have caused citizens to be stranded in their vehicles. Road teams worked for 2 hours to rescue the stranded vehicles.
In the Sertavul region between Mut and Karaman in Mersin, snowfall has intensified. As a result, the Sertavul pass has been temporarily closed to traffic. Drivers are warned not to travel unless necessary.
The Erzincan-Sivas highway is also experiencing difficulties due to snow. Road and police teams are working hard to ensure that stranded vehicles do not disrupt traffic.
In Kastamonu, snow depth has exceeded 2 meters. Citizens are searching for their vehicles lost under the snow. The snowfall has paralyzed life in the region.

Authorities recommend that drivers be cautious and use winter tires. While improvements in weather conditions are expected, caution is advised in the meantime.
