A fire disaster in Mersin led to the loss of one life. The fire broke out in an old house in Dorak Mahallesi during the night.

During the fire, Mehmet Tor, who was on the upper floor, fell to the lower floor due to the collapse of the wooden structure affected by the flames, unfortunately losing his life. Firefighters extinguished the fire and recovered Tor's body.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Mersin Metropolitan Municipality is taking necessary precautions and informing citizens about the incident.
