Turkey's Transportation Vision and the Role of Youth

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu addressed the youth at Istanbul Technical University. He explained Turkey's transportation vision.
Minister Uraloğlu expressed his belief that the youth will provide great services to our country in the future. He shared information about Turkey's geographical position and mega projects.
He emphasized that Turkey is at the center of 67 countries with 1.5 billion people living within a 4-hour flight distance. This positions Turkey at the heart of the Middle Corridor.
Uraloğlu listed significant projects such as the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, and the Eurasia Tunnel among Turkey's mega projects.
It is predicted that by 2035, one in every two vehicles sold will be electric. The number of electric vehicles in Turkey is rapidly increasing.
Uraloğlu stated that efforts to develop smart transportation systems are ongoing and that the infrastructure for autonomous driving will be implemented in Turkey within a few years.
