Investment of 298.4 Billion Dollars in Transportation Over 23 Years

Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Turkey has invested 298.4 billion dollars in transportation infrastructure over 23 years.
These investments aim to reach all corners of the country and are considered one of the locomotives of Turkey's development efforts.
Uraloğlu highlighted the completion of projects such as Marmaray, the Eurasia Tunnel, and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.

The investments made over the last 23 years have contributed 1 trillion 71 billion dollars to the country and provided employment for an average of 1 million people annually.
Uraloğlu stated that Turkey will have a railway network of 17,500 kilometers by 2028.

The investments in transportation strengthen Turkey's geopolitical position and play a significant role in international trade.
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized the goal of carrying Turkey's transportation and communication infrastructure into the future in line with the vision of the Century of Turkey.
