New developments are emerging in the case of high school student Yusuf's murder!

The incident occurred on March 12, 2024, in the Barış neighborhood of Izmir. Yusuf Demir was shot by an unknown person while standing with his cousins. The suspects arrested after the incident were brought to court for the murder.

A life sentence was requested for Hasan Tımarlı and his son Hakan Berke Tımarlı regarding Yusuf Demir's death. However, the court overturned the decision and ordered an investigation into Demir's real age.

The court noted that there was a discrepancy between Yusuf Demir's birth date and the date it was registered. This will be a significant factor in determining the suspects' sentences.
