A significant operation targeting organized crime groups was conducted across five provinces. 41 suspects were detained!

Operations were carried out in Aydın, Hakkari, Ankara, Balıkesir, and Mersin, with serious allegations against the suspects. They are reportedly linked to extortion, fraud, and drug trafficking.

Out of those detained, 26 were arrested, and judicial control measures were applied to 9 others. The processes for the remaining suspects are ongoing. This operation is seen as a significant step in the fight against organized crime.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared details of the operation on social media. A precautionary measure was applied to the accounts of suspects with a total of 1.2 billion TL in financial transactions.
