Historic Transportation Record in Turkish Airspace

A historic day in Turkish airspace!
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that with 1745 transit flights, we reached the highest daily transit flight count in Turkish airspace. This achievement proves that Turkish airspace serves as a significant air corridor between Europe, the Gulf, and Asian countries.
Uraloğlu also noted that on July 12, a total of 6110 flights set a new record for total air traffic. This figure surpassed the previous record of 5943 total flights on June 15, 2024.

Turkey's geopolitical position emphasizes the importance of investments in air travel. Uraloğlu highlighted that Turkey is located at the intersection of Asia, Europe, and Africa.
This success in transportation shows that Turkish airspace has reached a central position in regional air traffic. We eagerly await new records in transportation!
