In Tekirdağ, gendarmerie teams conducted a significant operation against loan sharks.

During the operation in Muratlı district, 4 suspects were arrested. The gendarmerie examined bank data obtained through the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) and identified 5 suspects involved in loan sharking.

During the operation, 3 handguns, 1 blank-firing gun, 2 air guns, and a large number of bullets were seized. Additionally, 24 deeds, 4 filled bonds, and 10,000 lira in cash were found.

While the processing of the 4 arrested suspects continues, efforts are ongoing to capture 1 suspect. This operation is seen as an important step in combating loan sharking in Tekirdağ.
