Free Internet Service Launched at Train Stations

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the launch of free internet service at train stations. This service allows passengers to benefit from the internet while traveling.
Initially implemented in Ankara, this service is now available at 63 different stations including Istanbul, Eskisehir, Konya, Sivas, Malatya, Kars, Erzincan, Batman, Mardin, Diyarbakir, and Van.
With an average of 2,576 users accessing the service daily, a total of 124,713 citizens have benefited from it so far. Uraloğlu noted that this service allows business people to continue their work while traveling.
Emphasizing that cybersecurity tests have been completed and no security vulnerabilities were detected, Uraloğlu stated that citizens can safely benefit from the internet service.
Minister Uraloğlu mentioned that the Wi-Fi service will be expanded to all train stations as part of the digitalization vision. This service will strengthen Turkey's digital vision.
