Free Internet Service Launched at Train Stations

The free internet service at train stations has begun!
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the free Wi-Fi service provided by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) has been implemented first on high-speed train lines in Ankara. This service is available at 63 different train stations, including strategic locations such as Istanbul, Eskişehir, Konya, Sivas, Malatya, Kars, Erzincan, Batman, Mardin, Diyarbakır, and Van.

An average of 2,576 users access this service daily, and so far, 124,713 citizens have benefited from it. UraloÄŸlu stated that the purpose of this service is to provide citizens with a more comfortable and modern travel experience.
Emphasizing that cybersecurity tests have been completed and no security vulnerabilities have been detected, UraloÄŸlu expressed that citizens can safely benefit from the internet service.

Minister UraloÄŸlu stated that they aim to expand the Wi-Fi service to all train stations in line with TCDD's digitalization vision. This service provides a modern infrastructure that not only benefits Turkey but also tourists.
