Doctors Leaving Greece and the Aegean Sea

Greece is facing a major crisis in the healthcare sector. 20,000 doctors have chosen to leave the country due to low salaries and excessive workloads.
Young doctors are reportedly earning less than 1500 euros per month in public hospitals and facing workweeks exceeding 65 hours. This situation not only diminishes the quality of healthcare services but also negatively impacts the country's productive population.
Countries like the UK, Germany, France, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia are among the most preferred destinations for Greek doctors. This situation creates a significant gap in Greece's healthcare system.
