The trial of former non-commissioned officer R.Z., accused of FETÖ, has begun. R.Z. requested acquittal.

The trial was held at the Adana 2nd Heavy Penal Court. R.Z. attended the hearing with his lawyer.

Witness E.B. stated that he studied at the same university as the defendant and mentioned staying in FETÖ-affiliated houses. However, he did not witness any actions by the defendant related to the organization.

Defendant R.Z. claimed he had no connection to FETÖ and requested acquittal. The court postponed the trial for the completion of missing elements.
