Joint Statement from the EU and UN on Ukraine

The European Union and the United Nations made an important joint statement regarding the situation in Ukraine.

Leaders emphasized that pressure on Russia would increase as long as the war continues. They stated that sanctions would be strengthened until a fair and lasting peace is achieved.
Finally, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Ukraine's security is directly linked to the security of Europe.
