Breaking news! A strong wind alert has been issued for Istanbul and 13 surrounding provinces. Wind speeds may reach up to 80 km/h!

The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that the northeastern regions of the country will experience partly and mostly cloudy weather. Temperatures are expected to be above seasonal norms in southern and inland areas.

Strong winds and storms are expected to continue until Saturday night in the Marmara Region, as well as in the northern parts of Izmir and Manisa. Citizens are advised to be cautious due to potential disruptions in transportation and risks of roof collapses.

The provinces under yellow alert include Istanbul, Edirne, Bursa, Çanakkale, and Tekirdağ. Residents in these areas should take necessary precautions and remain vigilant.

Temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms. Wind speeds will vary between 40-80 km/h, so caution is advised when outdoors.
