Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held an important phone call with the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the discussion, the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran was thoroughly addressed. Minister Fidan emphasized that these conflicts threaten regional stability.

Fidan also discussed similar topics with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, stating that diplomatic efforts need to be increased.

In a meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Fidan expressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations.

The discussions also covered the humanitarian situation in Gaza and developments in Syria. Fidan stressed the need for the international community to take more responsibility in these matters.
