CHP's Ambition to Take Power in Upcoming Elections

CHP leader Özgür Özel emphasized the party's ambition to take power in the upcoming elections during his speech in Lucerne. He highlighted the messages of security and democracy coming from Europe.
Özel pointed out Turkey's security capacity and the ongoing democracy crisis, stating that CHP will overcome this duality. "In the first elections, the CHP government will come to power, advocating both security and democracy," he said.
Özel also emphasized that public support plays a crucial role in CHP's rise to power. "Democracy is not just a matter for one country, but for the entire world," he stated.
It was noted that Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is also the CHP's presidential candidate. İmamoğlu is set to give a statement at Çağlayan Courthouse today.
Özgür Özel declared, "If we cannot be the first in the upcoming elections, I will leave politics," demonstrating his determination for the party's future.
