In Ankara, the municipality led by Mansur Yavaş is trying to cope with traffic problems. The bridge intersection works in Yenikent are negatively affecting the daily lives of citizens.

Due to the bridge intersection works at the entrance of Sincan Yenikent, part of the Yenikent-Ankara Ayaş Road has been closed to traffic. This situation has led to long queues as vehicles are redirected to alternative routes.

Taxi drivers and traders in the area are complaining about the traffic congestion. Ongoing road and train construction projects have made it difficult for people to reach their homes and workplaces.

AK Party Ankara Deputy Ahmet Fethan Baykoç stated that road works should be done in the summer months. He emphasized that closing the road used by 400,000 people just days before schools open is a major issue.

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality stated that the bridge and underpass would be completed in a short time, and that the works were carried out to ease transportation. However, the difficulties faced by citizens continue.
