Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet announced that legal action will be taken against those seizing public property.

Hürriyet stated that operators are exploiting legal loopholes to prolong the process, preventing the public from receiving free services.

Since taking office in 2019, the Izmit Municipality aims to provide affordable services to the public. However, the current situation is complicated by operators using legal barriers to extend the process.

Mayor Hürriyet urged the public not to enrich those seizing public property, calling for awareness.
