Istanbul's water resources are at risk! Ekrem İmamoğlu announced that the water level in Sapanca Lake has dropped to critical levels.

Sapanca Lake, which has not received sufficient rainfall for a long time, has fallen below the critical level of 29.90 meters. This situation threatens the water resources of Istanbul and its surroundings. İmamoğlu emphasized the need for balanced water usage.

Sakarya Water and Sewerage Administration (SASKİ) will implement various measures to reduce water usage. Irrigation in parks and gardens will be reduced, and drinking water usage in agricultural production will be monitored.

İmamoğlu stated, "If we do not use water wisely, we will face a water shortage in the coming days." Therefore, the importance of water conservation is more critical than ever.

Emphasizing the need for the public to use water wisely, İmamoğlu added, "This is important not only for today but also for the water of our future."
