In a bribery investigation led by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Zuhal Böcek, daughter-in-law of Muhittin Böcek, was arrested. This development has caused a significant stir in Antalya.

Zuhal Böcek was detained at Istanbul Airport on July 27. She was charged with money laundering and was brought to court for an arrest request.

Muhittin Böcek, his son Gökhan Böcek, and former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu were also subject to arrest orders. Muhittin Böcek was detained and subsequently arrested, leading to his suspension from office.
