CHP Chairman Özgür Özel emphasized that Turkey has become a country of easy deaths.

In a statement on social media, Özel pointed out that necessary precautions were not taken for the soldiers who were martyred in northern Iraq. He stated, "Those who do not take necessary precautions and neglect their duties must have their responsibilities revealed transparently."

Özgür Özel remarked, "Due to the government's poor management, Turkey has unfortunately become a country of easy deaths." He stressed that this situation is unacceptable.

Özel stated that a commission should be established in the Parliament to identify the sources of the deficiencies and negligence experienced. He emphasized that necessary steps should be taken to ensure the trust in the Turkish Armed Forces is not undermined.

Özgür Özel also highlighted the importance of including the families of martyrs and veterans in the process. He stated that the sensitivity of society regarding this issue needs to be increased.
