Claims of sabotage on the drinking water infrastructure in Erdek are making headlines. Balıkesir Mayor Ahmet Akın announced that four individuals were caught red-handed.

Mayor Akın stated that there was a planned sabotage behind the water supply interruptions. BASKİ teams identified that four individuals with a fake license plate intervened in the drinking water infrastructure.

Akın emphasized that this attack on citizens' health will not go unpunished and that they will closely follow the legal process. He also pointed out the importance of protecting their water and land rights.
