Heavy rainfall in Istanbul overnight has caused flood disasters in many areas.

The collapse on Vatan Avenue created a significant danger for drivers, with a 3-meter deep hole forming, nearly causing a taxi to fall in.

In Bakırköy, underpasses filled with water, leaving many vehicles stranded. The municipal teams began water drainage operations.

In the Asian side, streets in Maltepe and Üsküdar were also flooded, causing vehicles to get stuck and traffic congestion.

The Meteorological General Directorate warned that the rains would continue. Citizens were advised to be careful and avoid water puddles.
