Heavy storms in Mersin and the Aegean region have negatively impacted daily life. Trees have fallen, roads have flooded, and many events have been canceled.

In Mersin, the morning rain caused waterlogging in the city center, leading to traffic disruptions and difficulties for drivers.

Similar situations were reported in the Aegean region. Heavy rain and wind in Aydın caused several trees to fall and roofs to be blown off buildings.

The 7th International Kushimoto Street Artists Festival, organized by the Newşehir Municipality, was canceled due to adverse weather conditions. Tents and stalls were blown over by the wind, causing damage to some products.

Meteorology has warned that such weather conditions will continue, advising citizens to be cautious, especially regarding falling trees and waterlogging.
