Hurricanes and Storm Disasters: Fires Continue in Turkey

As hurricanes and storm disasters grip Turkey, forest fires are also rapidly spreading.
In the Köyceğiz district of Muğla, a forest fire broke out and quickly grew due to the wind. Nearly 70 houses were evacuated, and over 200 people were moved to safety. The fire also spread to the Pınar and Sazak neighborhoods.

In Antalya's Aksu district, fires are also ongoing. The fire has reached nearby houses, posing a significant threat. Teams are working hard to bring the fire under control.
Fires are also raging in Isparta, Balıkesir, and other provinces. Teams are trying to control the fires with aerial and ground interventions. The risk of fire spreading is high due to the wind.

All teams are mobilized to bring the fires under control. The causes of the fires are being investigated, and warnings are being issued for citizens to remain vigilant.
