A strong storm has hit Amasra! Waves have exceeded 5 meters in height.

Following the warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the storm has shown its effects in Amasra. Waves crashed against the walls of Amasra's Small Harbor, reaching heights of 5 meters. This situation attracted the attention of citizens, many of whom recorded the moments with their cell phones.

The Amasra Municipality has warned citizens to be careful due to the storm. Coast Guard teams have also reported that necessary precautions have been taken to prevent damage to the boats.

Due to the storm, cargo ships at sea faced difficulties in navigation. The wind also affected the Kemere Bridge connecting the Boztepe and Kaleiçi neighborhoods.
