Recently rising temperatures are paving the way for hurricanes and storm disasters. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı warned citizens not to start fires.

Yumaklı emphasized the need for caution regarding forest fires during his speech in Kastamonu. He noted that most fires are caused by human activities.

Minister Yumaklı announced that preparations are underway for forest fires and that initial response teams are positioned at 1600 points. He stated that we need to be on high alert this year regarding forest fires.

Additionally, forest fires are expected to increase by 15% by 2030. Therefore, it is emphasized that everyone must do their part in protecting forests.

Minister Yumaklı also highlighted the importance of agricultural insurance. He stated that farmers should insure themselves to minimize potential damages.
