In Artvin's Borçka district, a cell phone technician was shocked when a phone brought in for repair suddenly exploded. Business owner Sinan Arslan stated that they realized the phone's battery was not original after the incident.

Arslan said, "The phone was brought in for repair. We plugged it in, and I was about to check it. Suddenly, it exploded. We managed to extinguish it, but we were very scared." He emphasized that such batteries can pose serious dangers.

Arslan pointed out that there are many non-original batteries on the market, which can lead to overheating and explosions. He stated that leaving devices charging overnight is particularly risky.
