The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that hot weather will continue across Turkey. While temperatures in the northeastern regions are expected to be below seasonal norms, other areas will remain above normal.

In the northern, inland, and eastern regions, partly cloudy weather is expected, with local showers and thunderstorms in the western part of Thrace, the Taurus Mountains, and the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, as well as in the Eastern Black Sea and parts of Eastern Anatolia.

Heavy rainfall is expected in the northeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia and the eastern parts of the Eastern Black Sea. Therefore, it is important for citizens to be cautious and take necessary precautions.

Winds are expected to generally come from the north. Particularly in the southern Marmara and Aegean coasts, winds are predicted to be strong at times.
