An important development occurred in the newborn case!

The Bakırköy 22nd Heavy Criminal Court decided to release 10 defendants in a case involving 58 individuals, 29 of whom are detained. These defendants are accused of unlawfully profiting by transferring newborns to private hospitals.

Among those released are nurses, hospital managers, and medical secretaries. The court requested the determination of the financial damage to the SGK and postponed the hearing to June 30.
