Artificial intelligence is being used in many fields today, but its ethical implications continue to spark debate. In Italy, an application by Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini's party has led to accusations of racism.

The images shared by the League Party on social media have been labeled as racist and xenophobic by opposition parties. This situation has ignited a significant discussion in the country.

The Democratic Party and Greens filed a complaint with Agcom, the communication regulatory authority, stating that these images contain hate speech. This complaint highlights the misuse of artificial intelligence.

Senator Antonio Nicita emphasized that these images target specific groups and that AI is being used in this context. The identities of the victims in the images are obscured, distorting the perception of reality.

Francesco Emilio Borrelli from the Greens and Left Alliance stated that AI is being used as part of fear-mongering strategies. This situation creates anxiety and insecurity within society.

A spokesperson from Salvini's party acknowledged that some of these images were digitally produced. However, they argued that each social media post is based on real events.
