Two injured Syrians were found crossing the border illegally from Syria to Turkey. Abdulmalik El D. and Ahmet Elmudzi El M. were discovered injured along the Ceylanpınar-Akçakale road.

Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the two Syrians had been shot, and first aid was administered at the scene. They were then transported to the hospital by ambulance.

At Ceylanpınar State Hospital, it was learned that one of the injured was in critical condition. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation to determine who shot the injured individuals.
