Israel has approved an additional 9.23 billion dollars for war expenses. This budget will be used for security needs.

In the first vote, the Israeli parliament approved 30.8 billion shekels in additional funding. In the vote, 42 members voted in favor, while 37 voted against.

The vote took place as part of a political agreement made by Prime Minister Netanyahu with Haredi parties. The agreement foresees an increase in security spending.

The increase in the defense budget is necessary due to unexpected expenses arising from the ongoing war, particularly the costs associated with the conflict with Iran.
