New Military Recruitment in Ukraine! Zelenski's Statements

Ukraine has enacted a new law allowing the recruitment of men over 60. This law enables retired men to join the army.
President Volodymyr Zelenski stated that this new regulation allows non-combat roles for soldiers. Contracts will last one year and can be renewed with necessary approvals.
Zelenski announced that the number of soldiers returning from Russia has exceeded a thousand. These returns were made as a result of negotiations held in Turkey.

Ukraine has temporarily suspended the exit permits for male journalists and cultural professionals. This decision was made to address the military shortage caused by the war.
Zelenski called for security guarantees from Western allies. He emphasized the need to deploy a military unit on Ukrainian soil.

The corruption crisis in Ukraine forced Zelenski to take a step back. A new bill was prepared to ensure the independence of anti-corruption institutions.
