President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan pinned badges on new mayors at the AK Party headquarters meeting.

During the meeting, Seydişehir Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu and Emirgazi Mayor Mesut Mertcan announced their joining the AK Party. Erdoğan warmly welcomed these new members.

Hasan Ustaoğlu was born in 1975 in Seydişehir, Konya. He was elected mayor from CHP in 2014 and has now joined the AK Party.

Mesut Mertcan, who resigned from the New Welfare Party, also joined the AK Party. Erdoğan pinned badges on both mayors and wished them success in their new roles.

President Erdoğan emphasized that these new memberships will strengthen the AK Party and welcomed all the new mayors.
