Food inspections in Ankara are ongoing!

The Ministry of Agriculture announced that inspections against food threatening public health are continuing without interruption. In the latest inspections, 320,000 food labels were seized. The aim of these inspections is to ensure citizens have access to safe food.

In the inspections conducted in Yenimahalle, Ankara, 23,919 kilograms of food products and 2,000 liters of liquid food were also seized. Necessary actions have been initiated regarding the identified spoiled and altered products.

The Ministry emphasized that inspections will continue without pause to ensure food safety. Such inspections are considered crucial for protecting public health.

In addition to food inspections, the fight against unfair price increases continues. The Ankara Governorship imposed fines totaling 39 million lira on firms that did not comply with price label regulations.
