The Meteorological General Directorate has issued a yellow code storm warning for 11 provinces, including Istanbul, Bursa, and Izmir.

The storm is expected to be effective until Thursday night, with wind speeds ranging from 40 to 80 km/h. This may cause disruptions in transportation and roofs to fly off.

Meteorology emphasized the need for caution against sudden floods, lightning, and hail in the warned provinces.

Wind speed classifications: Strong wind 39-61 km/h, storm 62-74 km/h, strong storm 75-88 km/h, and full storm 89-102 km/h.

Weather conditions are potentially dangerous. Therefore, caution is advised when going outside and necessary precautions should be taken.
