The cleaning projects in Izmit Bay are progressing successfully.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın shared important information about the project on social media. He noted that the cleaned areas have turned blue and pollution has decreased.

Mayor Büyükakın stated, "The cleaned Bay is showing itself; the difference is noticeable at a glance. The revival from the bottom is spreading wave by wave, and the Bay is turning bluer every day."

With this project, the ecological transformation process of Izmit Bay is accelerating. The cleaning efforts will positively impact the local wildlife as well.
