President Erdoğan's Urban Transformation and CHP Critique

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended an important opening ceremony in Istanbul Güngören. In his speech, he emphasized urban transformation projects and criticized the CHP.
Erdoğan stated, "We are here with new good news. Today we are opening the Güngören People's Garden. We are handing over the keys to 798 independent units to their rightful owners," he said.
In his speech, he remarked, "If you do not build cities, you cannot revive generations," highlighting the importance of cities.
Erdoğan emphasized the need to make Istanbul resilient against earthquakes and stated that urban transformation is now a matter of national security.

He expressed that the CHP's agenda revolves around rent and that this situation harms the country. "We are very determined regarding urban transformation," he stated.
Finally, he noted that 1 million 17 thousand housing units and workplaces in Istanbul are included in the transformation scope and that they are transforming 2 million 317 thousand independent units nationwide.
