Mehmet Tekbaran, the Provincial Chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP) in Diyarbakır, passed away due to a heart attack. He was appointed as the Provincial Chairman by the BBP General Center in 2019.

Tekbaran fell ill at home and was taken to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved despite all efforts. His funeral was held at Yeniköy Asri Cemetery.

BBP issued a condolence message on social media for Tekbaran. The message stated, "We have learned with deep sorrow the news of the passing of our Provincial Chairman, our comrade in the cause, Mehmet Tekbaran."

Tekbaran's death has caused great sadness within the party. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.
