Hurricane and storm disasters have affected many regions of Turkey. Hailstorms have blanketed agricultural lands and worried farmers.

Following warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, hailstorms were particularly impactful in provinces like Adana and Kars. Farmers reported damage to their crops due to the hail.

In Kars, sudden hailstorms quickly covered agricultural lands in white. Farmers expressed concerns about the adverse effects of recent weather events on their crops.

In Adana, hailstorms have also damaged agricultural lands. Farmers reported that fruit and vegetable trees have suffered due to the hail.

The impact of such weather events on agriculture threatens the livelihoods of farmers. Damage assessment studies will be initiated following the hailstorms.
